Whisky-maker and distillery founder Graeme Macaloney will cover the ingredients, equipment and traditional techniques used to create these beloved beverages and the unique challenges and benefits of starting a single-malt distillery in Canada.

Graeme is an ex-pat Scot who founded and built Victoria’s Macaloney's Island Distillery & Twa Dogs Brewery in 2013. Prior to founding the distillery, Graeme earned a PhD in fermentation biotechnology and worked in the pharmaceutical industry.
