*PLEASE NOTE:  This is an application only.  If your application is accepted, our Vendor Coordinator will send you an invitation to register and pay the vendor fees. 

Q&A's
  1. Do I need a health permit: All food vendors require a 2024 Fraser Health permit to operate. You must provide a valid certificate to ScotFestBC before May 15.
  2. What about a fire inspection? If you are cooking or using a stove, oven or cooking unit, you must adhere to the 2023 Coquitlam Park Events Fire Safety Guidelines Commercial Outdoor Cooking regulations which can be found HERE.
  3. Do I need a business license for ScotFestBC? ScotFestBC will obtain one overall business license for vendors to operate at the Games. An individual business license from the City for this event is not required.  However, you must be registered by May 10. No exceptions! This applies to non-profits planning to sell any item.
  4. Do I need liability insurance to attend ScotFestBC: Yes. The City of Coquitlam requires all commercial vendors participating in ScotFestBC to carry $2 million in liability insurance.  The City of Coquitlam, Town Centre Park and BC Highland Games must the shown on the insurance certificate.
  5. When is set-up: Vendors must be ready and set up by Friday at 5:00 pm. Or arrive on Saturday morning and be set up and ready to go at 10:00 am (although best spaces may be taken Friday night). Fenced perimeter & overnight security provided.  .
  6. Can I get assistance to load-in and out? We will have golf carts to assist, if needed. No vehicles are permitted on the grass.
  7. How do I pay?  All payments are electronic. Everything (space, tents, tables, etc.) can be ordered from our Square site. If you cannot pay electronically, please contact Vendor Coordinator Dave Trotter: davidmtrotter@hotmail.com
  8. Is there a Sunday Program?   No, not in 2024.  We will not be holding a Sunday program.
