Bero is a Syrian producer, composer and Oud player based in Vancouver who has performed at music festivals, universities and events around Canada. He started his music education at a very young age, and through those years, he came to realize that music is a connective, universal language that can unite the world amid the chaos.

As a music composer, arranger and producer, he advocates for equity, peace and unity through his take on Middle Eastern music traditions and by creating works of intercultural fusion. He is constantly collaborating with musicians from diverse walks to life who share his idea of music as a universal language. His music combines musical traditions, fusing genres and creating a musical collective that circumvents divisions and displays a collaborative and equitable future.

His collaborations are a perfect fit for the first World Music Festival at ScotFestBC in 2023.  He will be collaborating with Curtis Andrews on percussion, Dr. Jared Burrows on guitar and Shruti Ramani on vocals.
