The 78th Fraser Highlanders (Fort Garrison)

Reconstituted in Montreal in 1966, the 78^th Fraser Highlanders is an historic military society that serves in Garrisons across Canada to support and educate youth. The members enjoy a fun, social milieu with Scottish and military overtones. The group maintains an active schedule of events, commemorating major actions of the 78^th, including honouring the Regiment’s efforts on the Plains of Abraham, Quebec in 1759 and 1760. The Garrison has been a regular attendee at the BC Highland Games for many years, and will be present for the official opening canon blast on Friday, June 14 at 6:00 pm and will maintain a static display throughout the weekend.
