Frequently Asked Questions

All food vendors require a 2024 Fraser Health permit to operate. You must provide a valid certificate to ScotFestBC before May 15.

If you are cooking or using a stove, oven or cooking unit, you must adhere to the 2023 Coquitlam Park Events Fire Safety Guidelines Commercial Outdoor Cooking regulations which can be FOUND HERE.

ScotFestBC will obtain one overall business license for vendors to operate at the Games. An individual business license from the City for this event is not required. However, you must be registered by May 10. No exceptions! This applies to non-profits planning to sell any item.

Yes.

The City of Coquitlam requires all commercial vendors participating in ScotFestBC to carry $2 million in liability insurance.  Please add the “City of Coquitlam” and “BC Highland Games”  to your insurance certificate.

Vendors must be ready and set up by Friday at 5:00 pm. Or arrive on Saturday morning and be set up and ready to go at 10:00 am (although best spaces may be taken Friday night). Fenced perimeter & overnight security provided.

We will have golf carts to assist, if needed. No vehicles are permitted on the grass.

All payments are electronic.

Everything (space, tents, tables, etc.) can be ordered through the registration site. If you cannot pay electronically, please contact Vendor Manager Dave Trotter: vendors@scotfestbc.com
