ScotFestBC’s inimitable host Rod MacBeth is back, along with Tiller’s Folly, Collage Trad and who knows who will show up for Rod’s Big Tent Kitchen Party. The place to be on Friday night in the Tri Cities.

Open Piobaireachd, Cultural Tent

Enjoy the very best Pacific Northwest pipers as they compete in the highest level of piping. Piobaireachd (pronounced ‘pee-brock’) is sometimes considered the classical music of the pipes. Come early and then catch the competition starting at 5:00 pm.

Whisky School (Ticket Required)

Macaloney Distillery presents Whisky Gourmet, a meeting of fine Island whiskies with fine food, prepared by a well known Coquitlam establishment. This is an evening to meet friends, enjoy fine whisky and food along the shore of Lafarge Lake.

Tickets on sale soon, and will include entry to the British Columbia Highland Games on Saturday.
