The British Columbia Highland Games is one of the largest traditional highland games in western Canada.

Originally sponsored by the Vancouver St. Andrew’s & Caledonian Society for more than 100 years, the event has evolved into a high-level competition and festival celebrating all things Scottish.

Friday night is the kick-off with a Whisky Gourmet program on the main stage, open piobaireachd in the cultural tent and live Celtic music until closing on the kitchen party stage under the Big Tent.

Saturday is full competitions all day long, culminating in the Massed Pipe Bands on the Lew Ross Field at 5:00 pm and a performance from Scotland’s Findlay MacDonald & Ali Hutton afterwards in the Big Tent, followed by Tiller’s Folly.

This event is supported by some great organizations, including our host city, Coquitlam and our long-time corporate sponsor REMAX. In 2025, we welcome back Jaks Beer Wine & Spirits and Macaloney Distillery and Two Dogs Brewery.

It’s a weekend not to be missed. Early bird tickets ($25) on sale until June 9. $30 at the door.
